I absolutely LOVE the Fall season, and I start putting out my fall garlands, pumpkins, and apple cider candles around the last week of August/First Week of September. Also, Christmas is my favorite Holiday, and I start decorating the house in the first week of November. I am curious to know when others begin decorating, and if anyone else loves that time of year as much as I do!

My wife decorates for fall after Labor day. Then it is time to decorate for Halloween, then Thanksgiving. So, the first week of December we decorate for Christmas. As we have gotten older, we decorate less, than we used to.

Fall and Autumn I would say Oct 1st. Christmas is different for different religions but I would say not until after Thanksgiving. Sometime I have to alter because we have family coming in. But I would rather wait until Dec. 10th.

For fall I always decorate the beginning of September. But for Halloween I decorate the 1st of October and after Halloween I put all the ghouls and skeletons away and prepare for turkey day! 🙂 For Christmas I start decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. And take the Christmas decor down on New Years Day! Hope this helps!

I am in San Antonio and the only ‘fall’ we get is artificial with the decorations. It amazes me that people do it at all. I put up ‘fall’ with Halloween on Oct 1. Then Halloween comes down and Thanksgiving goes up Nov. 3. Here we also have Dia de los Muertos-All Saints and All Souls Day. Christmas goes up the day after Thanksgiving along with Miracle on 34th Street being the FIRST Christmas movie of the season.
