I bought him a little hat, a christmas stuffed animal, a stocking, and some fake snow. He can’t sit up yet so, I didn’t have much luck with any of the pictures today. Any ideas? I want some good ones to make christmas cards. Thanks!
How about buying some batting (you know, like quilters use) and putting into the corner of one side of the couch, and then putting the baby on top of the batting to hide the fact that he’s being propped up by the couch. Then you can sprinkle some snow on the batting for a better snow effect, put the hat on him and let him play with the stuffed animal. He’ll be so cute!
I just took my kids to take pictures Sears and the pictures turned out to be absolutely adorable! They were 100.00 for the whole set of pictures on a cd. I know this is expensive however, they also offer pacakages starting at 9.99. If you wanted to do pics at home, you could lay out a holiday blanket on the sofa and place your baby in the pic. Also, you could put you baby under the tree and make it seem like he/she is one of the gifts. I did the last one and it came out good! Best wishes to you!
If he can sit up you could put him in a present box. Sitting near the tree with the lights on makes a beautiful pic. You could put his xmas outfit on and put a bow on him or wrap him up in a holiday blanket. I have also seen some really cute xmas costumes like elves and snowmen or santa costumes.
Walmart (at least in Canada) has this awesome package for 15 bucks right now, that’s what we did. They have a special table with this seat thing that holds a baby in a sitting position pretty good. We got some awesome pics of our little one.
If you lay him on his tummy can he lift his head up and get his arms propped under him? Then you can use toys or silly sounds to get him to look up and smile. You might need another person to help you with this.
dress up a babyseat ( ie. car seat) with nice baby blankets you know color cordinating with what he’s wearing or just white what ever and place him around the tree put little props near him he can grab things im sure so place something like a cndycane in his hand and snap the pic it doesnt have to look so professional just cute thats all we did this with my 3 month old and it worked fine everyone loved the pic and she was just in a cute pink and white sleeper holding a plastic candycane filled with hershey kisses with little presents arond her which we later took out of the picture and it looked sooo cute so dont over think it
you could try using a washing basket with a pillow in it covered with a sheet or blanket to prop him up in, place him under the tree or place tinsel around him

I’m not sure how old my niece was, but the “looking up into a light” picture is my favorite. She was kinda reaching for it with her hand….CUTE!

I personally think you sleeping on the couch and him sleeping on your chest is the best but that doesn’t really constitute a Christmas card.

Well, you could always take a picture of him sitting against the wall. If he is sitting against the wall, the wall will support him when he’s sitting.
