Does the real holiday begin on Christmas Eve (in the evening) or Christmas Day? On TV people start celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve.
So do you guys start celebrating on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
My relatives don’t start celebrating until Christmas Day. So I start having turkey on Christmas Day.
And when do you guys have turkey? Is it on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

For me on Christmas Eve….as kids we were always allowed to open one present in the evening…I plan to do that with my daughter…also, there is lots of festive TV on and the magic is already in the air.

Both……..and beyond. I start celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve Eve, and continue through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Along with December 23, 24, and 25, I also celebrate it on January 7 because of some Russian relatives.

This sounds bizzare, but in the Philippines, people celebrate christmas from September 1 until Christmas. But the grand celebration in the Philippines starts at Christmas eve. I do live in the Philippines so I know this things, but being a German we celebrate it like every other German. It starts at christmas eve, with a dinner, opening gifts then continues until December 25 until 26 for the 2nd Christmas Day.

I have turkey and some nice traditions on Christmas Eve, but the presents come at CHRISTMAS, so that’s when it really begins!!!
I’m 15, so I’m still allowed to be somewhat selfish on recieving gifts. Plus this year I’m buying all my gifts, so I get to do the gift giving as well 😀 I’m not a Christian (or any reglion actually), but I enjoy the commerical aspects of Christmas anyways.
