I appearantly violated a rule earlier when I asked this, but I am trying it again in a different way. My wife and I are going to be at my family’s Christmas on Christmas eve. Does anyone have any ideas that you can share with me on how we can tell my family that we are expecting? Also, any neat ideas on how we can tell my children from a previous marriage (boy 8 and girl 12) that they are going to have a (step) sibling keeping the Christmas holiday in mind?

If you have a sonogram picture already they make neat frames that say things like “the first time I ever saw your face”. You could wrap sonogram pictures and give to everyone. We did this for my 5 year old to tell him he was going to be a big brother & he keeps the picture by his bed.
only god can judge me

i would make a banner or sign out of card stock and wrap it like a present.. have the present addressed to someone else in your family and then on christmas day when they open the present, everyone present will know that you are expecting

I went through this last Christmas. What we did was sign all the presents to Grandpa/ma, Uncle, Aunt etc… It took my family a few minutes to realize when they looked at their cards but it was great!

Listen to TiffanyW
I was going to suggest the same idea, only I was going to say “put a picture of the sonogram in with Christmas card to your family” but like her idea better.
