I remember all the christmas joy I have had in my life. It wasnt so much the gifts because I ued to get 3 gifts as a child . One year I got a doll, a coloring book, and a bright red shovel. I was very happy with my gifts.
“chestnuts roasting on an open fire, jack frost nipping at your nose”….thats one of the first things I like to do…listen to christmas music and paint my christmas decorations
I think of Jesus
In all the ways and all the days that are known of Him.
1. More than a child born in the hay,
Jesus, my Lord, on that first Christmas day.
More than the son of a carpenter man;
You carried the weight of the world in Your hand.
For You are the Hope of my soul,
All that I see, and all that I know.
In You, there is peace in my life,
For one day You came, as angels proclaimed,
The Light of the world for us all!
2. More than a star shining that night,
More than the shepherds amazed by the sight,
More than three wise men with riches of gold;
You, the Messiah, the prophets foretold
Would come, bringing newness and life,
Freedom from sin, deliv’rance from strife.
In You, there is peace evermore,
For one day You came, as angels proclaimed,
The Light of the world for us all.
Yes, one day You came, as angels proclaimed,
Redeemer and Lord of us all!
I think of Christ. I think of the goodness of God. God sent his Son, as a little baby, taking on the limitations of man, to walk on this earth for 33 years, to show us His great love for mankind. Christmas, for me, is Celebration! Celebration of the birth of baby Jesus, the Christ of God! It’s my favorite time of year! I think of love.
First and foremost Christ as he is the reason for the season ….Secondley family as there the most important people in my life …third my friends they keep me humble and this will be the first Christmas with my bf …I just love the season the heat in FL…dewindles and its cool the new year is about to come in its just a time to start anew
I think of celebrating my birthday with Christ. Having family over for our carry in feast and bringing great grandmother over from the nursing home. We love the caroling in the streets and seeing the live Nativity.
I think of sharing love with every one and Spending time with family. I love how happy people are this time of year. I love seeing the look on the kids faces when they open the gifts. I just wish the day would slow down. It comes and goes to fast. I like hearing all the Christmas music and putting up the tree. I really like helping others how need help and have nothing for Christmas. God gave to us, the gift of Jesus and I like giving that back.

Snow, music, cuddling in looking at the lights on the tree while watching “White Christmas.”
There’s real peace inside me then, and watching the look on my son’s face never hurts either…
And more than anything, the love of God resting on everything– I think that’s where the peace comes from…
