I have a small Christmas tree (about 3 feet tall) and my cats try to destroy it. Does anyone know where I could buy some sort of clear case (maybe plastic or glass) to put around it to keep those little devils out of it? I can’t imagine having Christmas without a Christmas tree and those sprays at the pet store do not work. Please let me know what you think.

I would check out a place that sells dolls. They sell clear cases for collector dolls to keep dust off.

try a craft and art store like hobby lobby or michaels look for plexiglas sheets (or a glass store that has windows or a hardware store)…you may have to build your own, but that is a brilliant idea…wish i’d thought of it.
use silicon glue or caulk to hold the plexiglas in place, it should work for the season, atleast…maybe it’ll hold together for years, but if it doesn’t it is easily fixed.

You can buy an ex-pen at pet store or put the tree up on a table that only has enough room for the tree not the cat and the tree.My cat is a hefty 25 pounds so I put the tree up on an antique small table and he leaves it alone.

I’ve known people who have had large trees (5′ to 8′) and they set them up in a playpen and/or anchor it to the ceiling. For a 3′ tree, you should be able to get a display case at a craft store.
