I was just wondering since Christmas isn’t that far away. I am an average class person meaning I have a lot of bills and I am not the richest in my town. But still it’s not like I’m poor or anything. Of course I will have some money for Christmas, but I just want to know what the average amount to spend on a tween girl for Christmas is! Thanks!

if your talking about “santa” my mom probaly spends around $350. If your talking about getting your niece a gift its more like $30

I think $40 is good. A lot of us can’t even remember what we got for X-mas last year…not to even mention what we got years prior to that. I think that everyone should be watchin their duckets a bit close w/the economy & weather being the way it has been. lol I think that $40 is reasonable.

This is difficult to answer straight away. Ask your child what they want for christmas. Then make a list of who wants what. Find out the prices and get the children to put their choices in order of preference. Then try to get as much as you can by working this into your budget. You can get great value online. Ebay perhaps. So try to get the best deals whilst retaining what your child wants.
