I bought my christmas tree on december 1st and i have notice that it is starting to get dry and a bit brown. Is there anything that i can do other than water my tree?
the trick that worked best for us was to cut off 1 or 2 inches, and then soak the tree in a 5 gal bucket for 1 or 2 days outside….then install in the tree stand and keep water in it all times……then we went to a florist and got some stuff from her that they use to keep flowers fresher longer…….ours lasted about 6 weeks……
Just keep giving it a ton of water, and keep it away from any heat source. It is best not to even put a live tree up that early–better a week before Christmas or so.

someone suggested sugar in the water, maybe it’ll work…or steam it a bit, or mist the branches.
