I love the way some people seem to make the lights hang perfectly -they aren’t twisted and the corners are at 90 degree angles, everything is perfectly coordinated. Do they hire pros? If so, from where? What is the average cost for a 1660 sqr foot home?

OK…first you need lots of money….then you need lots of time and patience…of and did I say you need lots of money to buy all those lights…and lots of money to pay that electrical bill that will arrive soon after Santa has flown away.
Most of those homes are decorated by pros…so you need lots of money…oh wait a minute…I’ve said that already.
Start off with simple lights and design…you can increase on it each year. Just take your time putting them up and taking them down so they will not be damaged.

If you go after Christmas (on sale/discount) and buy quality outdoor lighting. Next fall, take your time putting them up using cup hooks with the rubber coating on them. Make sure you have no more than two strings together prior to outlet to avoid overloading. In meantime, can find fake trees at flea markets, etc.. without paying new price.
