I just made the Grinch Fries. I loved them. They tried it. I fried the leftover batter by the spoonful, I let them drain on a paper towel and they resembled a soft taco shell. It would be interesting to fill them with meat and serve them up. They were good by themselves and a good way to avoid waste.
Thanks for all of your videos.
Kimmy, I made them! And my little stinker who won’t even look at veggies ate about 5 of them! I was so happy. Thanks for giving out this idea. I used the Bob’s Red Mill all purpose gf/cf flour. I think I put in too much salt though. Love ’em, everyone with a child should try them!
Hey there! I’m glad your liking the vids…I used the same amount of oil as when I’m making french fries…about 1/4 full…I’m also investigating the oat flour thing as we speak 😉
Hey Kimmy, how much oil did ya use?
I cracked up when your son looked at them and walked away, that’s our life story! But at least he ate them!
Thanks for sharing, I might make those tonight!
You are so very lucky your kids will eat their veggies…it’s still a huge fight in the Krocker household. I’d love the recipe for the gravy if you don’t mind messaging it to me…thank you so much!
Hey Kimmy made these for the first time last night and they were great. I am lucky I don’t have to hide veggies from my children it is the first thing they eat. They loved them so much they ate them all. I also made a great gfcf brown gravy that was awesome if your interested let me know. My husband loved it and he is a hard nut to *****.I must say it was the first time I made the gravy I impressed myself. Thanks again for the videos you helped me get going full force for my daughter.
You are so welcome! As a matter of fact, he has eaten more of them…he won’t eat them off the fork when i try to feed them to him though…only like french fries..but hey..he’s eating green beans..i’m not going to complain!
I use the gluten free bread crumbs with a bit of the red mill gluten free flour (so they stick better). The bread crumbs are by Southern Homestyle. You can get them at your health food shop or at allergygrocery
Hey!!! I was wondering when you were going to sign on…..I was excited for you to see it! I also wanted to ask you..what do you use as the breading on yours?

What a great idea! Did your son eat anymore of them? I don’t like fries but those look delicious! I will have to make this for my boys.

I am definitely going to have to try this! My son loves french fries. It is one of the few things he does eat. I bet he would like these too! Thanks!
