Jason Hill’s breakfast casserole is one of many egg recipes you should add to your collection. Try it as one of your Christmas recipes or make when you’re feeding a crowd. Just make the night before and it will be ready Christmas morning.
You are right. This is not quick. I usually make it up the night before and pop it in the oven right when I wake up the next morning. I will be working on less time consuming breakfast recipes in the future. Thanks for commenting!

My mom likes to make this, personally i dont really like it, putting the bread in it ruins it.

I made your casserole with dark Russian bread instead of the sour dough, and I used German Tilsit as the cheese. All else was the same.
It turned out excellent.
Many thanks!

Great dish to include in a leisurely Sunday brunch, when one is not in a hurry, and can prepare food at a relaxed pace.
Cheers!

Wow that looks fabulous, nice job Jason!
One question though, can I skip the fridge and put the mixture right into the oven?

Yes. Thaw them, and cook them first.

Hey, nice job. Looks really nice.
One thing though – not a real ‘quick/easy’ breakfast. ie Takes ~45 minutes to cook! Do you have any other less time-consuming meals?
